About PCO Direct
Helping London drivers work through every step of the private hire licence process.
PCO Direct Ltd is a TfL Topographical and SERU training centre in East London. We were started by people who have worked in the private hire industry for years, with one aim: making it straightforward for local drivers to get licensed. From our centre at 1a Brayford Square, E1, we run the training sessions, practice tests and paperwork support the PCO licence application involves.
Since we opened, the team has helped hundreds of people through the licensing process. Assessments are stressful, so we keep groups small, explain things in plain English, and make sure every student knows what happens next. If something on your application or practice test is not clear, we go through it with you until it is.
Almost everything the licence needs happens under one roof: DBS checks, medical assessments, topographical training, SERU training and English sessions, plus help filling in the TfL application forms. Rather than working out the order of the process yourself, you follow the steps with a team that does this every day.
We help you put your PCO application together, prepare you for the topographical test and the SERU assessment, and help source your private hire licence. Once TfL issues it, you are ready to start work as a minicab or private hire driver.
